Fort Mason Center

The Fort Mason Center is a part of San Francisco’s rich history, and located on a gorgeous site between Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge right on the San Francisco Bay. Fort Mason Center, Building C, where our classes are held, offers easy parking onsite and near by MUNI stops on several lines.

The entrance to Fort Mason Center is at the intersection of Marina Boulevard and Buchanan Street in the Marina district.

There are nearby bus stops for MUNI lines: 10, 22, 28, 30, 47, 49, 82X. MUNI train lines can transfer to MUNI bus lines 47 or 49 at Van Ness Station for access to Fort Mason Center.

From the East Bay: Bay Bridge to Fremont Street Exit; on Fremont (100 yards north) take first right on Howard; left on Embarcadero and go 2 miles; left on Bay and go 2 miles; right on Buchanan. Cross Marina Boulevard and turn sharp right into Fort Mason Center.

From the North Bay: Golden Gate Bridge (US 101) to Marina Exit; Marina Boulevard (1.5 miles) to Buchanan and turn left into Fort Mason Center.

From the Peninsula/South Bay: US 101 North to 9th Street Exit; 9th across Market and left on Hayes; right on Franklin; left on Bay; right on Buchanan. Cross Marina Boulevard and sharp right into Fort Mason Center.

San Francisco State University Downtown Center at Westfield Mall

San Francisco State University Downtown Center is located within the recently opened Westfield Bloomingdales mall, with a set of modern classrooms overlooking a stunning open rotunda space. Close to Union Square, the Westfield Mall is reachable by foot from much of the Financial District. Those arriving by BART or MUNI, we are only steps from the Powell Street Station. For those arriving by car, there is easy parking near by at the Fifth and Mission garage.

Enter the San Francisco Downtown Center at 835 Market Street, on the south side, between Fourth and Fifth Streets.

The San Francisco Downtown Center at Westfield Mall is served by most bay area transit systems:

• BART and MUNI exit Powell Street Station; exit onto Market (south side)
• Muni streetcars and buses run on Market Street; exit on Market between Fourth and Fifth Streets

There is access to the Downtown Center from the Westfield / Bloomingdales Mall Food Court, but due to poor signage and directions, we recommend exiting to the street and entering at 835 Market Street for direct access.

The Fifth and Mission Garage is the closest to the San Francisco Downtown Center at Westfield Mall. For directions from the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, 101, and 280 freeways see the map.

Menlo Park, Burgess Recreation Center

In the heart of Menlo Park, just off El Camino Real, the Burgess Recreation Center is convenient to many Peninsula locations from San Jose to Burlingame. Easy access by car, and walking distance from the Menlo Park CalTrain station. Located at 701 Laurel Street, Menlo Park.
